Because vigilantism, esp of the third-party sort, is ethically suspect - and because any fatal transaction involving Tony Soprano would be an orgy of violence, and I’d feel more than a little guilty about taking pleasure in spectacular violence. But I’d also take pleasure in it. Which is complicated.
