TV station thinks its viewers are morons
Channel 4 was set up in 1982 as a public
serviced broadcaster "to offer a benchmark of
quality and innovation". The channel says its
"public service remit extends beyond the value
we offer to the viewing public to our
contribution to the strength and diversity of
the British creative economy."
This week, C4 proudly announced that it would
be screening a Wankathon, a group masturbation
session being held in London next month. Andrew
MacKenzie, the channel's factual entertainment
commissioning editor said, "We feel this is
exactly the type of provocative and mischievous
programming that Channel 4 should be making."
Seems all the real tossers work at Channel 4.
