Dave Vanian likes gardening
The Damned are back! Dave Vanian and Captain
Sensible won the rights to use the name
from the rest of the band and are now touring
the UK with a bunch of mates (Pinch, Stu and
Monty Oxymoron). Fans have nicknamed
them "Panto Damned".
But in true pop-star fashion, Vanian refuses
to travel with the others, and insists
on being ferried between gigs by his own driver.
Dave is now obsessed by gardening so he plans
the routes between gigs to take in as many
local garden centres as possible.
