right has a crush on Obama

The fact that Hillary Clinton took something of a pounding last week =
wasn=92t big news. But an examination of the talk outlets revealed an =
interesting twist to that pattern. Whatever the motivation, some of =
those conservative hosts are not only using their microphones to =
blast away at Clinton. They are also embracing, or at least saying =
nice things about, Barack Obama, a liberal Democrat whose primary =
virtue in their eyes may be that he can defeat Clinton for the =
nomination.
Whether heartfelt, strategic or simply faint praise, this Obama mini- =
love fest may strike some as sounding strange coming from some icons =
of conservative talk.
After criticizing Clinton=92s March 4 speech in Selma Alabama on his =
radio show, for instance, Hannity said Obama=92s address advocating =
more personal responsibility =93was echoing Bill Cosby=85In a call to =
action, Barack Obama sounded a lot like Cosby.=94 As the host was quick =
to note, =93I love Bill Cosby.=94
On his March 5 show, Limbaugh was also eager to award the battle of =
Selma to the Illinois Senator. =93Obama upstaged Mrs. Clinton =
yesterday,=94 he declared firmly. =93Drew a larger crowd, didn=92t speak =
with a fake southern accent, didn=92t screech.”
Speaking on the March 5 edition of the Fox News Channel=92s =93Hannity & =
Colmes,=94 columnist Robert Novak struck that theme.
=93I think [Hillary Clinton] is scared to death of Senator Obama, who =
is really a very fresh face, and very attractive,=94 Novak fairly =
gushed. =93He=92s a phenomenon.=94

No offense, but I think you are out of your mind. I don’t know what or who you’ve been paying attention to, but the right has been pounding Obama for almost two months now (luckily they’ve got nothing) while it’s been ‘hands off Hillary’ since before her second Senate race (they lobbed her a nice easy softball just to make sure she’d get re-elected.)
It might be that some conservative commentators (pundits) are out of touch with the strategy being played out by the REAL players in conservative America, but have no doubt…. the REAL players in conservative politics are just about dieing for Hillary to get the nomination, and they are SCARED of Obama.
